LVC ICC들은 윤석열대통령의 파면과 새로운 사회 건설을 위한 한국농민운동(KPL,KWPA) 투쟁에 대한 지지와 강력한 연대를 표명한다.

12월 3일 윤석열대통령의 계엄선포는 총을 사용한 강력한 군사 통제를 통하여 한국민중들의 자유와 민주주의를 억압하고 평화를 위협하는 엄청난 범죄 행위였다. 윤석열 대통령의 이러한 행동은 민주주의 원칙과 법치주의를 위반하고 헌정 질서를 훼손한 것이다.
이에 전농과 전여농은 1,700개 시민사회단체들과 함께 <윤석열즉각탄핵과 사회대개혁비상행동>을 조직하여 함께 투쟁하고 있으며 헌법재판소에 대통령의 즉각 파면을 촉구하였다. 전농의장(하원오) 전여농회장(정영이)은 수십일간의 단식을 통하여 항거하고 있으며 전국 각지의 회원들 또한 거리시위, 집회, 동조단식 등 강력한 투쟁을 하고 있다. 최근에는 장기간의 단식으로 인하여 KWPA 정영이회장의 건강에 이상이 생겨 병원으로 이송되었다는 소식을 들었다. ICC들은 정영이회장의 쾌유를 위해 기도를 보낸다.
LVC는 윤석열대통령의 즉각 파면을 통하여 한국에 민주주의가 돌아와 농민들이 안심하고 농사지을 수 있기를 바란다. 또한 식량주권과 농민의 권리, 여성농민의 권리가 존중되는 새로운 농업농촌과 사회개혁 투쟁을 벌이고 있는 전농과 전여농의 투쟁을 강력히 지지하며 그 투쟁의 길에 늘 LVC도 함께 할 것을 약속한다.

LVC ICCs express their support and strong solidarity with the Korean Peasant Movements (KPL and KWPA) in their struggle for the removal of President Yoon Seok-yeol and the building of a new society.

The declaration of martial law activated the use of guns and strong military control by President Yoon Seok-yul on 3 December was a grave and criminal act that suppressed the freedom and democracy of the Korean people and threatened peace. President Yoon Seok-yeol’s actions committed a violation of democratic principles and the rule of law, undermining constitutional governance.
In response, the leaders and members of the KPL and KWPA strongly protested and struggled throughout the country and called on the Constitutional Court to immediately dismiss the president. The Chairwoman of the KPL (Haewon-oh) and the Chairwoman of the KWPA (Jeong Young-i) have been protesting by fasting for several weeks, and members across the country have also organised street protests and solidarity fasts. Recently, we heard that KWPA Chairwoman Jung Young-i was taken to hospital due to exhaustion from the prolonged fast. The ICCs send their prayers for her recovery.
The LVC hopes that the immediate removal of President Yoon will bring democracy back to Korea and allow peasants to farm in peace. The LVC strongly supports the struggle of the new agrarian reform that respects peasants‘ rights and women's rights, and social reform, and promises to stand with them in their struggle.
